This is a very homely, well prepared and simple food. There is nothing hanky panky in their approach however they always maintain the same standard in terms of service and taste.
Pure veg and definately and must in case you are dying to have some simple veg food.
“Ek Bar Khaoge to Bar Bar Aoge!”
I am not a vegetarian, but every time I eat in Zaika I feel the same thing that vegetarian food is much lighter and healthier than non-veg food.
I visit the place often, especially at times when I am bored of the same chicken-biryani, tandoori chicken, or the monotonous Chinese. And I always go satisfied from this place. I believe this is one of the best places in Bangalore to enjoy pure North-Indian veg-food.
Ambience: I would give 2 out 5 for the ambience. Don’t go for the ambience there, but for the food. It’s a clean place, but the stairs that lead to the first floor of the restaurant are narrow and to say the least uncomfortable. So, if you go there ask for the seats in ground floor.
Cleanliness: 4 out of 5.
Speciality: North Indian veg food.
Must have: Dal-fry
Value for money: 4 out of 5. Will cost you about Rs 250 for 2 persons.
