shankar wrote “ Have you ever had kabab with haddi? or shorba that tastes like tomato paste or biriyani with rice all balled up? We had lunch buffet at this god forsaken place last week. the bill came to 249 rupees per head with taxes. Despite the terminology, the buffet has a very limited choice. Quality of food was pathetic. You can get better food in any third class roadside eatery. The service is horrible. You have ti figure out everything on your own. There are waiters loitering around here and there but are as good for nothing. ”

We found this restaurant to be very friendly and the food was good and plentiful. We started our food with subz ka shorba and we ordered for jeera chawal, kulchas, paneer makhni, murg do pyaza etc., and also they have so many yummy things on the item definitely come back to this restaurant to try them all. And their chicken gravy preparation is wonderful and have not had a problem with any of its other dishes so far. They are ready to take our initial order. Decent and so fresh north indian food. This restaurant serves very delicious north indian cuisine. The dishes are truly unique compared to the usual stuff we get at the other restaurants in bangalore. The ambience is also good. Service is also excellent and its also a very clean restaurant which is a pleasant surprise for a smaller north indian restaurant in bangalore. And i like to take our friends and co-workers to eat there. You should try it once. I will recommend this restaurant to all north indian food lovers.  ”
dev wrote “ The Village is perhaps one of the worst restaurants in Bangalore. The food is bad, the service is pathetic and horrors of horrors it is bleddy expensive! The ambience is that of a road side dhaba on the roof top. Similarity doesnt end there. There is absolute lack of hygiene. The dishes are cold and oily, the service is poor and the menu prices incredibly exorbitant. We visited the restaurant today for lunch and the very bad experience prompted me to write the review ASAP. AVOID this place at any costs.  ”

ashu wrote “ Recently we had a dinner party at Village. The worst thing here is price. I anyone is planning for a booze party better to avoid village. They change double for all drinks. What a good restaurant charges for a 'large', its charged for 'small'. ”
sunil wrote “ Menu has variety, though the food is bland. Need to improve. Not to mention that the price is way above the normal range. ”
satish wrote “ the experience at the village was good tasty food for both veg and Non veg served at an equally good open terrace facility. ”
varun wrote “ Hi all,
I visited The Vil'age Hotel - Marathahalli with my friends on last weekend. I found two thing very beds.
1. The Hotel management applying a very good trick that first they serve a very bed quality water so that people move towards mineral water. After that they charge mineral water rate double (for 13rs water bottle they are charging 28rs). (When we having our party I observe that almost all people taking mineral water because of same reason)When we talk with the manager why you are charging double for mineral water, he replied very ruddily that "Do what ever you want to do". They are doing these things because they know an IT person doesn’t bother about these small things they are ready to pay for any thing.
2. The hotel was not clean - Lots of bee around the food which is not good for heath.
So if you have some extra money then goes ahead.
When I share my experience with my colleagues that told we also have experience like
1. Food is too expansive and food quality and quality was not good
Regards,
 VJ ”

I had been to The Vil'age rest at Marathahalli recently and was totally impressed by the ambience. The ambience simply denotes how one can get a classy yet simple look by keeping a theme in mind..
Overall, it was gr8. The food was good but could be improved. and would love to see tasty Assamese dishes also added to the menu.
Keep it up!
