abhishek wrote “ I went for dinner at Village restaurant on a saturday night with my office friends. It was surprisingly busy on a week day. The atmosphere was warm and convivial. The service was prompt and perfectly satisfactory. The village restaurant serves wonderful north indian food. We had delicious food here, and one of the best north indian food we had here. And the staff were attentive and friendly and were quick to take orders and refill glasses and clear the table. The food arrives quickly and parathas make all the difference, also best naan ever i had. I cant forget that taste also. This is a simple place with good food and reasonable price. I thought the food was pretty good, never anywhere in the city i tasted food so authentic and the ambience was really too good. This is a good restaurant for celebrating birthday and group party etc., this is one of my favourite north indian restaurant in bangalore. Overall i was impressed with this restaurant. I can say that food is excellent and very fresh, and you will not be disappointed. And also i will recommend this place to all my friends.  ”

unknwn wrote “ The food is average but the service was really bad. We had to keep on waiting for the menu, even after asking the waiter. Later we had to get the menus ourselves. Besides we had to wait for the rotis for a long time (part of the buffet) and also for the drinks. The food is of average quality but service needs lots of improvement. Besides gulab jamuns got over by the time we had our desserts. The place is too hot for summer. Since it\'s open on the sides, the summer heat was too much. I would not recommend that place to others. ”
rohit wrote “ The ambiance is quite good but north indian food quality and taste is worst you can think. It will spoil your taste buds. They doesn't bother of your complain also. overall very bad experience. ”
jithun nair wrote “ If you plan to go on a weekend evening, preferably book a table beforehand. The ambience is made to seem rustic, with thatched roofing and walls resembling a village setting - works well. We ordered Chicken Kalmi Kabab and Veg. Assorted Pakoras. While the former was really good, the latter turned out quite cold and even had a hair in it! On complaining, the staff promptly replaced it with a much warmer batch of even greater quantity. Main course included Chicken Dhaniawala (above average) and Peas Pulao (good). Service was good.

Makai palak, Mutter Methi malai
Laccha paratha, Naan, Kulcha

The food arrived reasonably warm and on time. But it was very bad and tasted stale. The following day two people who ate dinner suffered from an upset stomach.

I will never order from The Village, indiranagar again. It is a sub standard restaurant. There are many other good places on 100ft road I'll take my business there instead.

gauri wrote “ We were 15 of us from our organization who went to The Village, Indiranagar. The buffet is priced reasonably. It is Rs.125 per head. We reach at 1.30 and most of the food was over. The food was tasty but for some reason the guys refused to refill the dishes. Out of the 10 dishes available in the spread we could taste only a few because the containers were empty. Moreover they wax beneath the food was not on, that made the food cold.
The good dish in the buffet was Gulab Jamuns but i am sure they were not made. Honest advice, if you want to try Village be there by 12.30 else you gonna be disappointed big time.  ”
lucky wrote “ I have been to a number of restaurants in Bangalore that offer North Indian cuisines, the Village at Indiranagar happens to be the better of the lot!!! We wanted to go this restaurant on Thursday but could not make it as it was raining, so we checked out Hungry bangalore if they could help us in getting some food from the Village. They promptly obliged and took our order. After 45 mins our order was delivered to us at our doorsteps. We were five people. Our order included Tamatar Pudina Shorba (figured out that this should be a tomato soup)  and  Paneer Tikka for starters. Paneer Lababdar, Shahi Paneer, Dal Tadka, Mutter Wala Pulao, Nan Makhanwala, Kulcha Mila Jhula Raita served as the main course. And of course Hot gulab Jamuns for the sweet part of the things at the end. We enjoyed and had a party around the delicious food. I have heard nice things about the Village itself in terms of its location and internal atmosphere and experiencing exactly that in the next weekend is one the things that I have to do!!! We enjoyed the food and recommend this place "strongly" for its North Indian cuisine.....

Enjoy maddiii.... ”
antara wrote “ The buffet lunch at Village, Indiranagar is really a good deal. The buffet had good options for veg diners which is not usually found in most of the restaurants. You can call it a good value for money.
