We ended up trying both tandoor and continental for the main course. Continental definitely won hands down in both main course as well as the starters. The baked zucchini was to die for, that we ended up ordering one more plate. Rates were a bit expensive, but the menu and the quality probably justifies it. Would have been nice if there were desert options.

Restaurant building has a small fish pond and has an open lay out. Kids will enjoy. And will be a hit with women too as it adjoins 'Sanctuary', a very little known shopping sanctuary; even if you dont shop, it is worth window shopping here!

Over all, a good dining experience. As somebody already mentioned, may be a better option for nights than daytime.

Cheers.

I'd seen this listed on HungryBangalore and been meaning to try it for a while and we finally made it there last night! Although it claims to be open air, it's mostly covered and you don't really feel the breeze or coolness that Bangalore is known for in the evenings.

The service was very good as soon as we arrived and stayed the same all through the night. Unfortunately that might also have been because we were one of the few people in the restaurant! I wish it had been a little more lively to set the mood.

Orange Peel has an extensive menu. This is great because those who wanted continental could have it, and those who stick to the indian palate had options as well. The menu is a little confusing but the waiters are always ready with good suggestions if you ask. The starters however were a bit limited as almost everything had tons of cheese and I don't like cheese!

Orange Peel is next to The Sanctuary which is a small boutique and a great place to shop while you wait for your food.

Overall, the food was quite yummy and not a single person complained about the meal. The cocktails were well made and not stingy on the alcohol content. The place is quite nice but perhaps better suited to a quiet evening out rather than a group gathering!  ”
