Like most I too call Mocha my “Second Homeâ€. The most endearing thing about Mocha is its serene location, in spite of the fact that it is situated right on the main road of Koramangala, the hustles and honks some how tend to spare this place. So even when you are chit chatting with your friends in the terrace over a hookah you won’t have to scream your lungs out because of the ongoing traffic.
Mocha has a first floor section which is indoors and do not serve hookah. The ambiance in here is mind blowing with the interiors decorated with an Arabic touch. There is the outdoor seating’s which is very useful and calming in the evenings. Then is the hookah lovers’ paradise, on the terrace. The decor is very subtle with the Arabic tinge here and there. The silver room on the terrace has a/c and a wide screen T.V which these days screens the IPL matches.
Mocha is famous for its Hookah, and they got a lot of flavors to keep you engaged. They serve one of the best flavors to support this argument too. Another factor that will keep you going back to mocha is the friendly servers and floor manager. They always greet you with a smile, and make you feel right at home. It wont be long once you become a regular customer that you get into a personal relationship with all of them.
The food may not be much to talk about since they have a very limited list in the menu, Mocha started adding them more into the menu recently with salads and sandwiches taking the head spots. The best in the food section will be “Maggi Arabiaâ€. This is by far the best way to prepare maggi. Mocha has delicious French fries as well which decorates most tables.
To talk about the drinks, well Mocha got five stars in that department as well. They have a wide variety of juices. This is very evident while reading the menu itself. They got an amazing description of each drink that gets your curiosity and desire.
To sum up, if you are a fun loving person who likes to try new stuff it’l be a hhuge loss for you if you haven’t made a trip to Mocha yet. ”
natali wrote “ I've been going to Mocha since forever and I've never had a consistent experience! There are always too many waiters but never one when you want someone. I also think that I probably know the menu better then they do at this stage!
The hookah is good but you generally have to send it back once or twice before it is worth the Exorbitant price that they charge.
The desserts especially the chocolate avalanche are delicious and their food is pretty good for a once in a while kind of taste. I guess my only gripe is the service, so prefer to go with a good group of friends when you won't be too bothered if they are slow, etc.
Either way a decent place to chill out at those odd in between times! Make sure to sit on the terrace :)! ”
