restaurant which is located in the third phase of jp nagar. East Winds restaurant also had valet parking so there was no difficulty for me in parking my car. When I entered East Winds restaurant there was one table reserved for us in advance. We in particular asked them to reserve for us in the roof top with the view of the city. I enjoyed the lightins over there. That was
not too dim nor too much bright it was apt. This was my first experience in having the candle light dinner. The surrounding looked crowd but the music and charming people looked pleasing.
Service is good , Decor and ambiance is good and not flashy. The food at this restaurant is good , the Chinese appetizers were delicious also the tandoori style Fish also is good. But My fav Duck Kum Poi Shung this was heavenly. Flaming Jumbo Prawns and Seafood Dimsums were excellent. Prices also were reasonable. You can take your family there to dine. If you like
Seafood/Chinese Food then East Winds restaurant is the best place for it.

These people got me a complimentary cake and sang the bday song. The table also was so beautifully positioned looking over the 6th floor of the building. The serve was so prompt and nice and great fun. This is surely the best fine dine in JP nagar better than BBQ nation. All that they need to do is to improve the quantity of the food in each serving, its too less. Everyone in JP Nagar, try out this place. ”

It’s a good attempt at a rooftop dining concept for a formal Chinese restaurant.
Theres an element lacking that needs to be filled in to complete the feel of an upmarket dining space.
It’s a refreshing change however.
The place is a little highly priced for the ambience, food and the service on offer.
A meal for two costs about 900-1000 (no beverage included), it does not cost 450!
Could visit once, consider yourself lucky if you are served well. I ve been there twice and and I definitely don’t consider myself lucky.
The service is the sole reason for my negative bias on this place. Waiters take forever to respond, food takes a decade to reach your table, arrives luke warm to cold. Starters arrive after you re done with the soup. Grossly Understaffed. Food and ambience are good but it’s the service thats a huge let down.
I hope the S Hotel Management reads this!
A little tweak to the decor and improving the service multi-fold will do this place a great deal good.
For now, there are many better options in this price bracket.
Try Isys (since its south bangalore), Aromas of China(best option) or maybe even Nan King.
