Today I had a dreadful experience with Beijing Bites. From Hosapalya I placed one order for 6 items. It was delivered within time. We started our dinner with soup and a starter and it was all fine. While moving on to the maindish and sidedish we realised that the prawn side dish(Kaeng Phed Koong) was not there. Instead there was a red gravy filled with vegetables. So I immediately called up Beijing Bites HSR outlet. There was one bengali guy understood my problem and convinced me that he has sent someone to replace that container with the original one. But after that nobody came for almost an hour. We could not wait and finished off our dinner. Then I again called up the HSR layout outlet and then one guy told me that they are having some problem with sending the replacement so I have to bear with it. Now I placed one order and had to finish my dinner without a sidedish, instead got a vegetable filled red gravy and I have to bear with it. Great! And then instead of trying hard to let the guy come to our place they said they'll try to manage it in the next order, Now after having a crap incomplete meal, thanks to Beijing Bites service , how on earth did that guy think I would go ahead and place another order again??? I am still not able to accept this. I have paid 140 rupees without tax for that item to get a red gravy and vegs. Now where has my money gone???Is this what Beijing Bites is all about????

Arnav

The service was poor and order took time. Food was okay.
Special mention was the bageecha chicken, which was tasty.
Since then we have only ordered food to be delivered.
Note: if you go easy on spicy, ensure that you mention this while placing the order. ”

Whenever i feel to eat some delicious food i normally walk down to bageecha to have my lunch or dinner with some beer. The restaurant is very easy to locate and normally crowded even on week days. I have been eating there since 3 years but the quality of the food have remained the same until now. Having food in the huts is a real treat. I have almost tasted each and every item at bageecha, among all i like Bageecha special mutton gravy, Kasturi kabab, Kasturi kabab, Kheema kulcha and the wonderful Chicken and mutton biriyanis served at bageecha restaurant. If you want to visit in a group be aware that you reserve table in advance or else you have to wait for a longer time. Bageecha is always great. ”

The food served there is totally marvellous. The waiters are very curteous and very energetic. Everytime i visit Bageecha the food will be arrived to my table within 15 mins. Thats really good since the restaurant will be full on a daily basis. They really serve some mouth watering stuffs. The kababs prepared at bageecha is really a treat. We oftenly visit bageecha in a large group for monthly office parties. The prawn dishes which they prepare is really outstanding. Nice to have a birthday parties that too for cocktail parties. This restaurant is highly recommended to everyone in bangalore who needs a change with open air garden restaurant. ”

We just asked them to replace... they replaced it with the same one after cleaning with one dirty towel... post that we got Soup(15 mins post our order), the temperature of soup was very low. almost at room temperature. We asked them why it was not served hot as you took 15 mins, so presumably you cooked it.. the waiter replied that in such a crowd this is normal, let me get it heated and why are you fussing about it. The manager, the managers manager everyone had the same opinion that they can re heat the soup,, its normal ...
I was now completely angry and scared to eat at this restaurant... So canceled my entire order and left the place. ... Think before you go there.... They can serve you anything.. and say that in crowd it is normal... Its a boozers den (local) so they are not bothered about family..

Thanks to the airport moving to Devanahalli, the road which leads to the old airport is not all that crowded as before. Just out of the city, is Bageecha, a north Indian restaurant. The place and the ambience is fair enough and I didn’t have any complaints about the food either. Of course, I’ve had better but it was a fun trip out of the city. I normally use Bangalore hungry zone to find out about restaurants in the city and found this one on Bangalore hungry zone too! ”
