That was the best food i had ever eaten, this story was about 3 years ago. recently i was with my family in bangalore and wanted to go to a good eating place, I was so delighted that hungryzone suggested me Adaa. Because they brought back old memories to me, the food here was every bit of the food i had eaten back in punjab, the waiters were very polite and respected the customers alot. And the lassi was simply superb.I and my family had a wonderful time and hopefully when we come to bangalore again we will surely dine in this place! ”

roopa wrote “ We visited Adaa inspite of the sad ratings going by their sister concern Treats reputation.
We were extremely disappointed by the service and the poor quality of food.
We were served fish and chicken both were served practically "raw". When brought to their notice they took the half eaten pieces from all the guests plates, cooked it and served it back. Disgusting as you can imagine no body knew whose left overs we were eating.
It was by far our worst dining experience ever. We walked out feeling all disgusted and disappointed. ”

Guess Mr. Venket does not know punjabi food well at all..keep it up Adaa you guys are doing a good job.. Gautam

It is tough to get right North Indian Food and rightly baked cripsy tandoori roti or naan in bangalore. For that reason, Adaa is quite good place to be.

We are largely Veggie.
Best litmus test for punjabi food it to try pindi channa. It was good but not really authentic. (Queens near MG Road is far ahead on this).  Missi Roti as per me were hopeless (Should learn from Aagaan near Cubbon Road or Kormangla) but Normal Roti/Naan was good. Paneer quality was very good but overall Paneer Tikka left lot to desire. Quatity was very less, mere 5-6 peices.

Chicken Malai Tikka tasted good, but I think with chicken that is the problem. Most of time you like it.

Worst part of evening was Onion. Instead of giving proper portion, most of dishes were full of Onion in all ways and shape. Irrespect, whether it is Panner Tikka or Chicken Tikka or Channa.

It is really very expensive   (Incl Tax 12.5% Vat + ~5% Srvc Avg Dish Rs 200+,   Bread Rs 40-50) and portions are really less for those prices. They can have high price but portions need to be bit for more to relish items. No item is enough for 2 people.  Dinner for 2 shall be Rs 800-1200.

Service was prompt and most of attendent were polite.

Ambience is very very normal, I would say poor. Avg lighting, tables are very close to each other.  While serving others, they may cross you or disturb you.

Overall for ensured reasonably good Punjabi Food, it is OK to visit.

dp wrote “ While trying to locate restaurants around in Marathalli area on the web, I came across the hungryzone.com website and decided to give it a shot by ordering from Adaa. The website promised a 45min delivery and the food arrived dot 45 minutes after I placed my order.

Food was good, however the prices and descriptions on the hungryzone website weren't accurate -- I was expecting boneless chicken but it wasn't and I also ended up paying an extra 50 rupees as the prices on the website weren't up to date with that charged by the restaurant.

Only one problem though: having moved into my new apartment just a couple of weeks ago, I didn't even have the basic silverware with me... and the restaurant didn't pack disposable silverware. Make sure you have at least a spoon at home if you're ordering delivery!

mitrad wrote “ I had tried Adda food before. Since it was good, I ordered it today to ring in the new year. Today 31st dec - After placing the order by phone, I asked for the total, when the attendant said "I do not have time to make the total ".
From the visible menu on HB I made sure I ordered food for the amount 390+tax.

The food arrived with a 570/- tag. When I called them to verify, I was told that since it is the year end every dish has been charged 25/- extra.

While I had no problem with paying extra cash, I only had 500 in hand and payment by card was not an option...this despite asking for a TOTAL as i ordered the food. Had i know this before hand, I would have amended my order accordingly.

In the end, the attendant was rude enough to ask us to send the food back (the entire package)...which we did since we were pissed off with the attitude already. I for one am not ordeing from Adda again.
