Q. What is Hungryzone?
Ans: This is a one stop shop that not just allows you to search and locate restaurant of your choice but also takes orders/reservations on your behalf. This site allows users to place orders or book tables across 550 + restaurants serving over 40 cuisines and 1 lakh dishes in Bangalore city currently.
Hungryzone provides you with restaurant listings, reviews and more for over 10,000 restaurants spread over 10 cities

Q. Why should I use HungryZone instead of phone orders?
Ans: Online ordering provides several advantages over telephone based ordering. You will not receive a busy signal, they will not be put on hold, and their order will be relayed to the restaurant in an accurate fashion. You would be able to see the entire menu online instead of listening to someone speak out the entire menu to you. Its much less frustrating than relaying a long and extensive order over the phone. You would be able to make an informed decision about the restaurant by reading reviews on them. In case of table reservation orders, you would be able to locate the restaurant on the HungryZone maps. In case you would still want to place the order on phone, HungryZone customer care executive will give you an unbiased choice of restaurants that you can place the order from. They will also let you know which restaurant specializes in what, what have been the feedbacks of customers etc.

Q. Do I need to pay extra to use this site?
Ans: No, you do not need to pay anything extra for using this site. However, the home delivery charge varies from restaurant to restaurant. The restaurant details page mentions the delivery charges of the restaurant if any.

Q. How do I make payments for the food that I order?
Ans: The food that you order will be delivered to your address along with the bill. This bill would include the delivery charge(if any). You can pay the amount directly to the delivery boy.

Q. Can I make payments through my credit card online?
Ans: Yes, you can make online payments. However this option is available only to select restaurants. You would get an option to choose your preferred mode of payment on the cart section while placing an order.
Q. Can I make an advance order?
Ans: Yes you can make advance orders. Just select the date and time when you would want the delivery and you will receive it at that time. Please note that even the advance orders can be delivered only during restaurant operational timing. For eg., if a restaurant starts their operations around 7pm, they would able to make deliveries earliest by 7:30pm even if you would have placed an advance order.

Q. What address should I use for placing orders? Can it be my office/lab address?
Ans: The address that you mention has to be the place where you want the delivery. The address can be stored with us (if you are registered) and can be used later when you want to order again. You have the option of storing 2 addresses with us.
Q. Is there a guaranteed delivery time?
Ans: HungryZone does not take any responsibility for the time of delivery. It would also depend on the weather, traffic, the kind of dish ordered etc. The delivery is guaranteed and we request you to use the "check status" feature available at the home page or mail us at support@hungryzone.com in case the order is delayed by more than the stipulated time so that we can do a followup on the order. Please note that its the restaurants that do delivery.
Q. What do I do in case there is some problem with my order?
Ans: Please mail us at support@hungryzone.com or call us at our helpline number 080-4350-4350. Our foodie agents will assist you with any problems or doubts.

Q. Do I need to tip the delivery boys?
Ans: No, you do not need to tip the delivery boys

Q. How do I cancel an order?
Ans: You cannot cancel an order for which the restaurant has started processing. In case the restaurant has not started processing the order, we can get the order cancelled. Please mail us at suport@hungryzone.com or call us at 080-4350-4350 to check the status of your order.

Q. Why is the phone number mandatory?
Ans: Phone number is mandatory for us to call you in case the restaurants require any clarification on your order or address. Also, in case something that you have ordered is not available or if the order is going to be delayed for some unavoidable circumstances, we can let you know over the phone. Please provide us with a number where you would be easily available(preferably your mobile number).

Q. Where all is my personal information used?
Ans: Your personal information is sent to the restaurant for delivery. We also use your email id to send you newsletters or other information you have subscribed to. Time and again we have lucky draws among our customers for which we use their email ids. Restaurant or HungryZone would not use your personal information for purposes other than mentioned here.
We take security seriously and we take precautions to keep your personal information secure. We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. However, due to the open communication nature of the Internet, HungryZone.com cannot guarantee that communications between you and HungryZone.com or information stored on HungryZone.com servers, will be free from unauthorized access by third parties.

Q. I can't find my restaurant...
Ans: If you cannot find your restaurant in our list, that restaurant might not be listed with us. You can mail us and we will try to bring the restaurant with us, you could also apprise them of our service.

Q. What if internet connection is lost at any step in between?
Ans: If you received the order details through email, your order is sent to the restaurant. In case you did not, your transaction did not complete and order was not placed. You would have to place the order again, in case you have any further trouble please call us at 080-4350-4350 and our foodie agent will take your order.

Q. What items can I buy through this site?
Ans: You can order your food online through this site. Orders can be placed only with the restaurants that are registered with us. You can see a list of all restaurants by clicking the link "View all Restaurants".

Q. What are the advantages of registering with HungryZone.com to place orders?
Ans: There are many advantages of being a registered user. To list a few of them:

  • Every time an order is placed you earn reward points. These reward points can be redeemed for free gifts.
  • You can save your address for delivery to enable faster ordering the next time.
  • Features like One click ordering and saving of favorite restaurants require you to be signed in.

Q. What are your office hours?
Ans: Our helpline number is accessible from 10:00am to 11:00pm 7 days a week, 365 days a year. However, when placing online orders; you can place advance orders/bookings at any time of the day. The booking/order would be confirmed only when the restaurant starts their operations.

Q. Who can write reviews?
Ans: Anybody and everybody can write reviews on the website. Hungryzone does not take any responsibility of any review written on the website and its the personal opinion of the reviewer. However, Hungryzone reserves the right to remove the review in case there is any objectionable language used in the review.

Q. Do I need to be a member of Hungryzone to write reviews/place orders/book a table at any of the places?
Ans: No, you do not need to be a member of Hungryzone in order to use any of the services.

Q. How do I start ordering from my favorite restaurant?
Ans: Ans: Please follow these simple steps to order online:
  • Search for the restaurant you want to order from by using any of the methods mentioned above.
  • Click on "order food" button on the search results page or the restaurant details page.
  • Enter the quantity against the items you would like to order and click on the + sign.
  • Once you are done selecting the dishes, select the option you would want (Home Delivery/ Pick Up/ Dine at Restaurant) and click on "order this" button.
  • In the checkout splash which opens, enter your details, click on "send this order" and just wait for your yummy food to arrive!

Q. I dont have access to the internet. Can I still use your services?
Ans: Yes, we do offer phone support - you can call our foodie agents at 080-4350-4350. Although we can process your request more efficiently if you order online, we do understand that you might not always be connected to the internet and are happy to provide this phone support.

Q. I can't find my favorite restaurant...
Ans: If you cannot find a particular restaurant in our list, that restaurant is not listed with us. You can mail us and we will try to bring the restaurant with us and you could also apprise them of our service.

Q. What is an order code?
Ans: If you place a delivery order or table reservation request through hungryzone.com, you get an order code at the end of the order. This order code can be used to check the status of your order with hungryzone.com. Please note that this order code has no relevance whatsoever with your order at the restaurant or reservation status at the restaurant.

Q. I am stuck and can't figure out how to order...?
Ans: No issues. Give us a call @ 080-4350-4350 and our foodie agent would assist you in the ordering process.

Q. How do I redeem my points?
Ans: Once you log-in, you would be able to see a link in the header section displaying the available points. You would be able to see the gifts available for redemption on click of that link.

Q. How can I change account password?
Ans: Once you log-in, you would be able to see a link in the header section "password". This would take you to the password change page.

Q. I sometimes get delivery in my office and sometimes at home. Do I need to create 2 accounts?
Ans: No, you do not need 2 accounts. When you sign up with hungryzone.com, you would have an option of Primary and Secondary addresses. Put your 2 addresses in these. When you place an order, your primary address would be populated by default in the address field. In case you would want to change it to the secondary address, please check the option "Use my Secondary Address" just below the populated address.

Q. What is the meaning of favorite restaurants?
Ans: favorite restaurants, as the name suggests, is a list of restaurants that are your favorite and you frequently order from. You can order food/book tables at your favorite restaurant without having to search for it, the link to your favorite restaurants is available on home page. You need to be signed in to use this feature.

Q. How do I add a restaurant to my favourites?
Ans: On the restaurant page and the menu page you would find a link to "save this restaurant to your favorites". You need to be signed in to add a restaurant to your favorite list.

Ans: You can get your restaurant registered by getting in touch with us at register@Hungryzone.com or by giving us a call at 080-4350-4350. Our representative will let you know the procedure in detail.

Q. How long does it take to get HungryZone set up?
Ans: Once you have signed up for HungryZone and we receive your information, your HungryZone Menu System can be set up usually within 72 hours.

Q. Are there any advertising benefits from HungryZone
Ans: The HungryZone System is also very beneficial to your current advertising. Let the public know about your online ordering system by adding your link to magazine and newspaper ads, your Yellow Pages listing, your business cards, menus and other company documents, radio commercials, and more...

Ans: We do everything, from setting up your entire menu and website online, to maintaining and updating the site with any information you request.

Ans: Yes. When you place your Web site order just tell us that you do not want to process orders online. You'll get all the other advantages of a Web presence: location information, menu, driving directions, tour, testimonials, etc.

Q. What information will I receive with my online orders?
Ans: Everything you need to fulfill the online food order. When a customer chooses online food ordering from your menu, you will receive the complete order, the name of the customer placing the order, a call-back number, delivery address and also the delivery time.

Q. How do I promote my Web site?
Ans: Promotion is easy and doesn't have to cost you any more than what you pay for in promotions today. Just let everyone know that you can now accept online food ordering.
