The portal assists you to search and place orders to these restaurants by empowering you with features like One click ordering, Check order status, Buffet search, Advanced search filter, Creating future orders etc. All this packaged along with a very attractive Customer Loyalty program is brought to you absolutely FREE of cost.

How it started

Hungryzone.com was started on 26th July, 2006 as a community service by a group of IITians working in software companies in Bangalore. Every Bangalorian at that time was plagued with the need to have a single interface available to them in different mediums that allowed them not just to search, but also to select and order food from any restaurant in the city through that interface. It was been a very delicious journey ever since powered by the hunger of our user base. And today we stand as a business entity because of them.

After more than 3yrs of existence we have experience of processing more than 3 lakh orders, with a registered customer base of over 65,000 foodies trusting us with their fooding needs. We take pride in the fact that we are pioneers of Online food ordering in India and strive to achieve excellence in this domain by providing our customers a world class service and in turn winning their love and affection.

Milestones

26th July, 2006 Hungryzone.com was launched with 15 restaurants on board and 0 registered users.

5th May, 2007 Hungrybangalore.com signs up its 100^th restaurant and goes past 1500 registered users.

2nd Aug 2008 Hungrybangalore.com becomes a registered company (Achindra Online Marketing Pvt. Ltd.) with partnership with 400 + restaurants. It is then that the company raises the first round of funding from Indian Angel Network.

Today, we have over 65,000 registered customers on Hungryzone.com with over 550+ restaurants partnering with us.

Book Table: Going to a restaurant to Dine in, make sure you book your table through us to ensure there are no surprises awaiting you once you and your friends reach the restaurant. Collect each and every detail about the restaurant from information like avg meal for two, operating hours, user generated reviews and rating, is smoking allowed, do they serve drinks, is the restaurant air conditioned, Location on the Map etc.

One Click ordering: Want to repeat an already placed order, go to our One click ordering, select from your previously placed orders, modify it to your requirements and re-order it. Simple isn't it.

Checking Order Status: Food is delayed past the scheduled time, just go to Check order status link, Enter your Order code and your Mobile number and we shall instantly let you know the status of your Order over an SMS.

Buffet search: Welcome to the most comprehensive buffet search. Filter down to the exact Buffet you want to go to through our Advanced Search Filter based on Buffet price range, Avg meal range, Area, Cuisine etc and then make a reservation at that restaurant. All this in a matter of few moments.

Phone support: In case you are on the move and do not have Internet access you can avail the Hungrybangalore service over the Phone, just call 43504350 and make your reservations, order food, and also check status of your order. This Phone support is available from 10am-11pm 7days a week.

Advanced Search Filter: Want to make sure that the restaurant you are ordering from is purely Vegetarian, or has Air conditioning, has a Kids section where the kids can play, servers Alchol, is disabled friendly and many more, just check that on the Advanced Search Filter and you shall get the exact information.
